• The Elko Band Council Eyewear Program began in January 2003, after acquiring the program from IHS/Southern Bands Health Center. Our program works with a Native American owned company from Omaha, Nebraska, where all orders are faxed to be filled.
• Our program is open to the entire public. All that is required is a written prescription that is less than two years old.
• Although our program does not provide or pay for a written eye exam, once we have your prescription, (written by an outside provider), we are able to compete with the local area eye doctors in style, lenses, prices, and even contact lenses.
• Our program offers three tiers of vision value packages (packages include lenses and frames). Our basic vision value package starts at $48 for frames and clear, plastic lenses. All other options, such as scratch resistant coating, are an additional charge to the starting price.
• Our program accepts cash, checks, or money orders as forms of payment. We require a deposit of half the amount before an order is placed. The final payment is due when the product is picked up.
